Moving home - take services with me?

Hi everyone!

First time poster, be gentle!!

I'm moving house from one rented property to another. I have superfast fibre & sky TV (dish) where I am. I know the property I'm moving has internet currently supplied by Sky but not on the same speed as where I am. I have a few questions:

1) When I move, as Sky already service the property will it be a simple switch of service for the internet from my old to my new home?
2) As the speed is lower I will in theory be paying for something I cannot have - is my bill / contract adjusted without penalty?

3) Similarly with TV - there is already a dish on the side of the property, can I just connect my box to the cabling inside the house and it'll work?

All of the above is of course subject to me completing the proper Sky moving home process etc etc.

Thanks in advance!

Whichever the current ISP is makes no difference.

2) As the speed is lower I will in theory be paying for something I cannot have - is my bill / contract adjusted without penalty?

That's subject to individual negotiation.

Not necessarily: a Sky Q box typically won't work through an LNB currently in use by a Sky+ HD box.

Hi @TheGoonerCav   Unfortunately we can only guess, it is best to ask Sky https://www.sky.com/help/articles/home-move
