Move from Virgin
Hi,
Looking for some advice with billing.
I am moving from Virgin Media. My contract is around £45 per month and the current deal ends on 19 April.
I have set up today (30/3/35) my Sky Stream TV box. Sky are charging me around £14 on 6 April.
My Sky Broadband is due to be set up on 30/4/25.
Will Sky pay for my final Virgin bill as the Sky Stream is not activated?
If I am Virgin to retain the broadband from 21-30 April will Sky pay this?
Many thanks in advance!

If you have setup your sky stream today then it is activated, its activates once you going through the setup or 21 days after delivery, whichever happens first. Its worth noting that Sky TV and Sky broadband are 2 separate contracts and therefore 2 seperate bills so will likely have different billing dates ( particularly if the activation dates for both are different).
Sky will only cover any early termination fees that Virgin charge you should you be switching whilst in-contract (https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-credit-offer?DCMP=dmc-skycom:na_switch_credit)

Re: Move from Virgin
@Chrissy_Stew Any bills owed to Virgin are your responsibility to pay, Sky won't.
Sky do offer a switching credit(upto £100 for TV and the same for broadband) but that only applies if you leave another provider and have early termination fees, but once again you have to pay those fees and then claim the credit which is added to your Sky account.
