Monthly charge increase

I want to know why my monthly bill has increased without Sky bothering to advise of it.

This might help to explain it:

It sounds like the minimum term on your package has come to and end so the discount you had has now finished. When you took this out you would have been told how long it was going to last for so now is the time to call Sky to see if they will offer you a further discount for the next 24 months if you agree to a new contract.

If you have a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk landline phone then you can call Sky for free via the 150 number. Or under "Need more help ?" at the bottom this page is the number to call:

if your discounts have come to end then your bill can increase.

SKY do not currently advise customers that  discounts are coming to an end

Re: Monthly charge increase

I'll review online billing however there's no real discount in situ unless my contract this time was for 3 years (I'm platinum VIP as I've been with Sky since the day dot when F1 was gratis and then a separate channel that didn't involve subscribing to Sky sports). A lot of what I watch friends can view as Sky channels on Now TV so maybe I should finally move away from Sky.

You need to contact Sky and give them 31 days notice to cancel it, so you can either call or use the messaging service to do this.

Select "No, I still need help" at the bottom of the page on the above link.

Sky usually sends packaging out near the end of the cancellation notice period of 31 days for TV so if you haven't received it then you can use whatever boxes you have or can get as this link will help you to print the return label and return it via Royal Mail:

Add a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment you have included.
Make sure you get and keep proof of posting when sending this off.
