Money taken illegally from my account
Increased my bill. They said I could cancel free of charge if done within 30 days. So I changed to a different provider within that timescale. Still charged me £200 cancellation fee, despite reassuring me 5 times over the phone that I don't owe them money. Threatened me with debt collectors too for several months. How do I get my money back???

Which services were cancelled, was it only broadband or also TV?

The email does state you can leave your broadband subscription penalty free is done within 30 days of receiving the notification however this only applies to broadband/Talk and not a TV subscription. That would incur early termination fees.

If sorting it via a phone call doesn't work you may need to submit a complaint …

I've tried the phone line before and it didn't help. I'm talking to my bank to try and reclaim the money. But I'm not sure how to get the debt collectors called off. Especially as I don't owe any money in the first place.
