Hi
I am hoping someone may know the answer to this query. Thank you in advance.
I made a 0800 phone call in January on the Sky landline but it isn't showing on the bill. I know it is not chargeable but I need to show that I made the call. Does anyone know how you can show that this call was made?
Thank you

Posted by a Sky employeeWe don't show these types of calls on your itemised bills as they can be for sensitive things like child line or domestic abuse support etc and it can put people in a difficult situation if they are found out to be calling these numbers. So it is for safeguarding reasons that we do not show them.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs it is free it might not show, one other place to look is the downloadable version of your bill that you can do via this link:
https://www.sky.com/manage/bill/
Once downloaded open it and see if it appears, if not then there will be no way via your Sky account that you can prove this. Your phone itself should store a history of all calls made.

Thank you. I fully appreciate that. It makes sense now as to why these aren't showing.
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
My reason for checking is I have rang the DWP for an Attendance Allowance claim form for a relative and haven't received it. When I queried it they said to leave it a while longer and if I have to make another request advise of the original request date to allow the claim to be backdated.

Hi, is there any way of getting these records? I have phone Barclays a number of times and requested changes to my account which they have not actioned and the consequence is I have been refused a mortgage. I need to prove I made these calls, can I request these separately?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Angelarigby does your phone record calls you've made? I don't know if Sky keep a record of them, but I imagine if they do, it won't be in a form that they could make available to you. It's probably best you give them a call to check.

Possibly a SAR (Subject Access Request) under the Data Protection Act.
It is almost certain that Barclays will record their calls too - so you could SAR them too...

I've used SAR's on energy companies to get the full audio recording of the call. (Sky at best may only be able to confirm the number was called)
