Missed payment broadband
I missed a due payment for my broad band on the 1st. So i went online and payed it manually which worked and i have a screen shot of it, however on my banking app it still says that sky is trying to take money out my account everyday. I don't want to double pay or something ridiculous like that but not sure what to do.

Re: Missed payment broadband
@kendal1 If you have a direct debit setup and the normal payment fails Sky try again 10 days later. If paying by card making a manual payment would not stop further debit attempts as their billing system only seems to see the failed payment regardless if you made a manual payment.
Unless Sky request you to make a manual payment you shouldn't be making them as it won't stop the automated collection.

Re: Missed payment broadband
Once the original planned payment has been processed a credit should appear on your Sky account for the amount you have overpaid.
This should automatically be used to pay your next bill so on that bill date no/less money should be taken from your account.
If you prefer, once your extra payment is showing as a credit, contact Sky who can arrange a refund within the standard 3-5 working days. We used to escalate this to the Messaging Team on here but unfortunately that process is not currently available. Either call, use Sky Assistant or perhaps use social media to initially make contact.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off
