We have been with sky for over 20 years and our contract is up for renewal and goes from £68 to £98 a month and they say they can't reduce it. How can this be justified and when I quote prices on line answer "that's for new customers".....well how about loyal customers and retaining and rewarding us or would you rather loose us.
we are in a cost of living crisis and Sky is a luxury especially at £30 a month increase. Today your overseas call centre gave me 2 different prices within an hour when questioned answer "all departments have different prices", surely this isn't ethical!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe deal you saw was no doubt for new customers. You would have benefited from a similar deal 20 years ago. Comcast seem to want to attract new customers whilst sometimes losing current ones. If you're moving elsewhere, when that discounted deal ends you'll probably find yourself in the same boat and after 18 months Sky will class you as a new customer if you wish to return and the cycle starts again. If you call again today another renewal figure is likely and this is quite common. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount so if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.
