Loyal customer rewards

Why don't we, as loyal customers, get the same or better deals that new customers get? Looking at the black Friday deal, a new customer could get a package tv and Internet from £35 but as a loyal customer that same package would cost me £65 +

Better discounts are offered to new customers as an incentive for them to join. Most providers now do this. You'll have probably benefited from such offers in the past.

If you choose to leave and go with another provider then in 18/24 months you'll be in the same position with that provider and if you want you'll be able to return to Sky as a new customer and gain the benefits available at that time.

Possibly because Sky make more money on attracting new customers even set against those loyal customers they lose. The loyal customers who continue to pay more than new customers are a great revenue stream.

Suggest you vote with your wallet. Sky Q and latterly Stream worked great for me, but not worth the monthly cost.

  • Now TV is worth it, because
  • cheaper
  • no long contracts
  • Uses an app
  • Ultra Boost is effectively "Whole Home"
  • No phone calls to find cheaper price- all online

Former Sky HD+, Q and Stream customer
Now TV Sports + Entertainment + Cinema + Ultra Boost @ £34 pm (till April 2026)
1000/115 FTTP (Aquiss) to Zyxel DX3301
3 x Asus XT9s + + RT-AC58U V3 for WiFi (AP mode)
65" Samsung S92C OLED TV
C430 Samsung soundbar with subwoofer
6 other streaming TVs
43+ network connected devices
