You shouldn't 'mess about' with a master socket because it's the head end and demarcation point of the national Openreach network.

I got rid of sky 4wks ago, I now have a Humax freesat PVR (brilliant) With netflix and YouTube and my Blu-ray collection all this for a fraction of what i was paying for sky every month to watch endless repeats.
