Leaving Fee

Hi,

I have recently joined Sky and my previous provider Virgin are charging an early leaving fee. Will sky pay anything towards that charge?

Thanks

Sky don't pay your old provider. You, the customer pays the early termination fees and Sky subsequently reimburses you.

Sky would credit back up to £200 for broadband and up to £100 for TV. Please read below about Sky switching credit...

Sky will not pay any of it but once you provide them with the documents they require they will apply a credit to your account to cover the charge.

This link explains what you need to do:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-credit-offer

Switching to Sky Broadband? - We’ll credit you up to £200*
Switching to Sky TV? - We’ll credit you up to £100*
Switching to Sky TV & Broadband? - We’ll credit you up to £300*

You must provide a copy of the bill from Virgin where you have been charged an early termination fee and a copy of a statement showing that you have paid it and send these to Sky via this email address - switching credit @sky.uk (all one word without the gap)
