Issue with Sky TV installation (home move)

We moved house at the end of June, and had Sky Home Move all set up beforehand (just for TV). The Sky engineer ended up being unable to visit our house in the time slot that we'd booked, and I was given the option to reschedule. I tried to do so, but now in My Orders on My Sky there's an error message saying there's been an issue with the order? I used the contact details in the error message to try to speak to someone, but I'm stuck in an endless loop of the system thinking I can solve my issue online.

We've been without Sky TV for a month now and I'd really like to get it back ASAP!

@LaurenC363

I would suggest calling Sky so you can speak to someone about this.

 Not sure that's particularly helpful to the OP. The OP is stuck in the classic sky death spiral of online help and not being given the option of a phone number.

can a 'super user ' not offer the OP a link with a phone number where the OP may , just nay, on a clear day with a following wind and no R in the month , get some help on the phone?

Sky choose to structure their website so that phone numbers appear at the end of convoluted pathways involving multiple drop-downs, presumably with the deliberate intention to prevent a straight-through link.

Unfortunately this is a tactic used by most companies and other organisations who'd rather not be running expensive call centres.

Ok. So let's try and help the OP.

OP , it seems from the above that you have got to persevere and navigate the deliberate Minotaur maze  until you get to a phone number.

keep not answering any bot questions, keep hitting I need more help, until you might just might get a phone number.

Not great is it?
