Hi, when I try to invite a member from the people and sharing area, the invite email is sent to my own email address rather than the invitee. When I click the link to complete the process I get an 'oops something went wrong' message.
Clearly there is something wrong with this system. I have phoned Sky to report it, probably 6 weeks ago.
Does anyone know a workaround or have any additional info?
cheers

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Can you elaborate on where you're seeing this, please? I'm unclear what the people and sharing area is.

Hi folks,
thanks for the replies. Here are some screenshots of what I'm talking about. Log in at Sky,com. Click on ''my account" top right, select My Details, and then People & Sharing. That gets you here:
You can either invite someone as a manager or a member:
Put in the email address of the person you are inviting:
when I click Send Invitation, the invite comes to my own email address, not theirs. If I try to follow the link in the email to complete the process, I get an 'oops something went wrong' error message.
Let me know if you need any further info.
many thanks

I just tried this yesterday and got exactly the same result.
Have Sky stopped this capability?

I have also encountered this issue. This feature only shows up in SOIP accounts (Sky Glass or Sky Stream) which is why some poeple can't even see it.
I've reported the faulty behaviour and it's been flagged for investigation.

Good stuff. I reported it to Sky at the same time as I made this thread. They said they would look into it... I wouldn't hold your breath for a result!

I fact, looking at my original post, it was weeks before I started this thread....

I'm having the same problem. I guess they've still not sorted it then!
