Ignorance and greed

We had sky in for years but costs rocked and was no longer value for money. We changed to virgin and they dealt with all the cancellations and future installations. We have received bills in the past and been told by your operatives to ignore them and they would deal with it.    Now as we are talking about debts you charged us for years for multi screen tv's which we never had and one of your operatives said you owed us £500 roughly and on many other occasions we were promised that it was on its way. Never arrived hence ignorance and  greed.

Did you take this up with Sky again prior to leaving? Does any credit show on your closed Sky account?

@Lozzat64  do note virgin can only take care of cancelling broadband connections on you behalf with sky

what they cannot do is cancel tv services that is solely your responsibility which would appear to have happened ie you haven't cancelled your tv service with sky hence the charges

you would need to contact sky direct to cancel your tv service

If the Multiscreen subscription supplement was on the Sky Q account then the additional amount would be charged whether or not a Q Mini box was at the address: some users have Multiscreen to facilitate Sky Go on Apple TV and gaming console hardware.

As noted above, 'one-touch-switch' only covers broadband even where both providers have a subscription television service.
