To cancel Sky Broadband and Sky Talk totally, or if you’re moving to a provider like Virgin Media or City Fibre etc who don’t use the Openreach set up, you'll have to contact Sky and give the required notice of 14 days, but if you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. If you are changing to another provider who also uses the Openreach infrastructure then join up with them and they should contact Sky on your behalf.
You’ll need to return any loaned router to Sky, so it’s important you get proof of posting and keep it indefinitely. Return packaging will be sent out to you near the end of the notice period.

ok
so I just ordered my new internet
"You'll soon receive an email and a text message confirming your live date
Your new router will arrive in the post before your service goes live
Setup your router using our guide and you'll be online by the end of your live date"
So they will contact sky and sky will cancel it?

They should do yes by taking over the line but it is worth checking that they actually do this on the day the takeover happens.

@samyo123 what other service(s) did you have to take to get the UW deal ?
If they are taking over a copper line service then you should receive communication from Sky along the lines of "sorry to hear you are leaving" along with notification of any applicable cancellation charges and equipment return instructions.
If you are moving from copper to full fibre then you may have to cancel directly with Sky.
If you are not porting a phone service then you really need to be on the ball !

For a limited time only, we’re offering you our award-winning Ultra broadband at just £24 a month, (standard price £35.99 a month)
– that’s a saving of over £200 over 18 months!
There are no sneaky mid-contract price hikes, either – which means you're locking in a market-leading deal today, and not paying the price for it tomorrow.
I got it in the email... Sky in april will likely increase these again, thats I found this one a better deal for now
