I terminated my contract with Sky in early August but they have taken too much money by Direct Debit

I terminated my Sky contract in early August but they have not reimbursed my Direct Debit yet - my final bill says they owe me money but it's nearly the end of September now and they have not reimbursed me.  This is unacceptable and I really need to speak to someone but am going round in circles with the Sky chat bot which is incapable of putting me I touch with an actual human. Please Sky can you contact me - you have my money and it's unacceptable. Thank you.

In case you’re not aware, this is a forum where customers help other customers with Sky related issues. You aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here.

 

Refunds at the end of a contract normally take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. You can either wait, call Sky or we can get you some help on here. That would allow the refund to arrive in the standard 3-5 working days. Let us know.

  • Thanks Daniel, the chat bot made it sound as though this was how to speak to someone.  Do ypu know who I need to ring to sort this out by any chance?

That would be great if  you could do that thank you - it's already been more than 6 weeks since I terminated my contract!

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and the Messaging Team may get in touch with you either before 7pm today or more likely tomorrow. 

Look out for a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. Once that appears you have 48 hours to click on it and join the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to each chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky are not instant so you’ll need to regularly check the chat thread.
