I referred someone to Sky. The assistant completed the registration with the person before informing them about the link that he should have registered through. My friend was advised to send me the link to fill in my information. But, the link is asking me to refer a friend instead. Not sure how to claim the voucher when my friend has already joined sky without the 'refer a friend' link. Please, any advice?

Find out moreIf you friend has already joined Sky then as they can't sign up again via the link you will need to send them then I don't think you will be able to refer them as this works for people who do sign up fir the referral link as that is the way it can be tracked.

That makes sense. Thanks for your reply. I thought the same. In honesty, the Sky assistant was unfair! He should have advised my friend that he had to join via that link. My friend would have told me and I would have signed into my account and send the link to my friend. I didn't know about the link. I thought he had to just give my details. That was a bit unfair to me and my friend!

Once your friend has completed their transaction, they’ll need to revisit their original referral link and input their new account number(s) to confirm their purchase. They need to make sure they do this, as otherwise this will not count as a referral.
