VAT Act 1994, schedule 11 paragraph 2A allows for the making of regulations which may require invoices (to be referred to as “VAT invoices”) containing specified particulars to be provided by taxable persons supplying goods or services to other taxable persons. Such regulations are in VAT Regulations 1995, Regulations 13-20

@PKLlewellyn The regulation you quoted is irrelevant, it applies only to businesses customers who are VAT registered, it has no bearing on consumer products or services.

Sky will celebrate its 40th birthday in 2029, and was valued at just under 30 billion pounds a decade before then when it was acquired by the Comcast Corporation.  Do you really imagine that when Sky Mobile launched back in 2017, or at any time subsequently, a business on that scale won't have taken advice on the topic?
