I need to change account holder name to bill payers name won't let me change it on my details

I have tried to change the account to my name as I pay the bills. Its in my ex partners name he doesn't live here I have sky and pay the bill but its in his name. We weren't married so have no paperwork yet all bills were paid from my bank account.

@Paula51  Sky don't allow transfer of account ownenership, so either your ex will need to cancel and return all the relevant equipment then you need to sign up in your name, or leave it as it is.

@Paula51  Sky doesn't allow account ownership changes, your ex partner is liable for the account and wouldn't have to cancel and return any loan equipment before you can sign yourself

Sky doesn't allow such changes I'm afraid. Your ex would have to cancel (unless in a discounted deal preventing that without Skys agreement ) and return all loaned equipment. Then you'll be able to join up and new equipment will be sent out.
