I'm going to be late paying my bill. Will my account get restricted or is there something I can do?

My account will be 2 weeks late paying. Will my services be restricted?

There is a chance it could be restricted so if this happens you will need to pay this bill and due to you being 2 weeks late you would also need to pay the following months bill as well. You will also need to setup or set back up your monthly payment method of a credit/debit card or a direct before your services will be restored. If you can I would make these payments on a weekday because if you do it at the weekend nothing will happen until the Monday or even the Tuesday at the earliest.

Very possibly. You may also have to pay your next month's bill in advance too, before your servicesmcan be reinstated.

You haven't said how you normally pay. The normal procedure is if you have a Direct Debit set up and the payment fails on the normal payment date Sky will attempt it again 10 calendar days later. Don’t be tempted to make a manual payment at this point as it's likely that will go towards the following months bill, leaving your current bill unpaid and subsequently restricted. After 10 days, if that second automatic attempt also fails Sky may send a text and/or email notifying you that your payment has failed again and you then have a day or two before they restrict your services.

If you have a Continuous Card payment method set up, once the payment fails Sky send the text/email notification about the failed payment and you usually have about 2/3 days before being restricted.

This is all an automated process and from what we’ve been told Sky Customer Service agents can’t stop it even if you’re told otherwise.
Sky don’t allow payment plans (except on a legitimately closed account) or a promise to pay on or by a certain date. This link may also provide some advice

If your services end up being restricted you will:-
(1) have to pay what you owe in full
(2) set up a new continuous payment method
(3) wait for the payment to reach Skys account.
Then your services should be reinstated automatically but not necessarily instantly.
