I've heard you can fast track this but every time i contact sky i get another version of what to do .All i want is the money i'm owed back .I'm keeping my direct debit open so my credit can be transfered .Any help wpould be greatly appreciated .

Re: How to fast track a refund
@Bodger1
If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community, which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here.
How recently did you cancel/switch?
Refunds should normally take about 6 weeks from the last day of connection, although posts on here suggest it’s taking longer ~ Note: (and what would have been the next payment date also has to have passed).
We can potentially help you get it refunded within 3-5 WORKING days via staff from the Community Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.
Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm that:
▪️the credit is still showing on your Sky account,
▪️what would have been the next payment date has passed

Re: How to fast track a refund
Hi thanks for helping out . I switched to a new provider on 14th September which was my last day with Sky .My last payment was taken out on the 24th September . My next bill shows a credit of over £50 which is credit for cancellation etc which has a date of 24th October . Thanks again for your help.

Re: How to fast track a refund
I think it's possibly too early but to see if they can help you yet I’ve escalated your post to Sky and staff from their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you on here.
Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
