How to chase an open complaint without calling

I have an ongoing complaint with sky. They have "promised" a return email within 7 days that they never wrote or sent; anyone surprised?

Anyway how do I chase their error, their incompetence and their ignorant attitude without calling them (chat was just as useless?

Merry Xmas all

If you have put in a complaint then this explains what happens next and what timescale Sky have to work to:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-customer-complaints-code-of-practice/

We aim to respond to your complaint and agree a resolution within 10 days. Some complaints, depending on their nature, could take longer to resolve, especially if they’re technically complex. If we’ve been unable to agree a resolution for your complaint within this timeframe we’ll contact you. We’ll keep you informed of progress in a way that best suits you and at a time that’s convenient to you.

@TheDrownedApe  You will need to call if you have an open complaint.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: How to chase an open complaint without calling

Well I tried again today after hearing nothing since 15 Dec.

Fast forward 30 mins of procrastination from the retention team and nothing achieved centre getting irate again.

No mention of my complaint resolution,  no mention fo a time frame.

I asked why I didn't receive the "promised" email, and the answer....... we don't communicate via emai.; only text or call.

Are there any actual sky employees on here or am I wasting my time like I have been the past 5 weeks with this (removed) company? I am still  being over charged £13 a month and am no closer to a resolution yet they insist on trying their hardest to make me as angry as possible by doing nothing except "reviewing the account". Their latest is..."we need to review the call from the 15 Nov and thag will take 7-10 days".

Moderator note: Removed unfounded allegations.
