Household SkyID

I've always had a sky account and ID while living with my parents for years, eventually moved out and taken broadband out in my name and account.

My account was always linked to the household accounts too, but now i've got my own broadband I can't view anything and have no access to my billing. My parents closed their sky account and now my account can't be unlinked. My account number for my broadband has already been activated to my SkyID, yet I can't access any of the information and when I do log on to view it, it just comes up with all the closed account products my parents had in the past.  What am I meant to do? Very frustrated with the situation and every sky assistant I talk to can't help me.

Is your new Sky account number shown here: https://www.sky.com/mydetails/account-info ?

Re: Household SkyID

Nope. Just shows my Fathers name.

That suggests either that you're logging in with the wrong Sky ID, or your new Sky account isn't linked to the Sky ID you're logging in with.

Re: Household SkyID

But because it's still linked to the household account, isn't that overrriding my bills? and as my account has "minimum access" would that stop me viewing anything relating to myself?

I suspect you'll have to create a new, full access Sky ID for yourself, then unlink your Sky account if it's connected to another Sky ID so that you can link it to your full access Sky ID. I doubt you'll

be able to do that yourself, so you'll need help from the Sky ID, I think.

Unless anyone else has a better way forward.......?

Are you using the same email address on your new account that you had on the previous one ?
