Free but not free offer

Earlier this month (4/11/2025) we changed our broadband to gigafast, the installer completed his work and told us he had put a 2 months free sports and cinema package in place as a thank you for upgrading our broadband and that we should cancel prior to its renewal. We didn't ask or want these but was told use while you have it, it's free. Checked my sky app to see our December bill has been increased to pay for a discounted amount for these two channels. Cannot find way to have these fees removed, the phone option is to remove only. We will use the sports channel for 2 months if it's free but it's not. Any advice please?

yup, you have to call to give 31 days notice to cancel.

 


We will use the sports channel for 2 months if it's free but it's not. Any advice please? 

They are likely to be in advance charges for when the offer ends?  See above.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
