Re: Fraud
Any history to this? Are you a Sky customer? Were you sent a device "in error" that you were then asked to "return"?

Re: Fraud
No history this is the first contact I have had from Sky. I used to have Sky about 5 or 6 years ago. There have recently been attempts via Three and EE to open accounts in my name and I believe this is a similar attempted fraud. The fraudsters clearly have my address and enough of my history to open these accounts but this attempt is fraudulent. Who do I get the information in the letters to. So that Sky can block the account and investigate and take action against the perpetrators. I blocked the DDs to three and EE via my bank. I do not remember specifically if any attempt at a Sky Mobile Direct Debit was made on or around 26/01/2025 when it says the account was opened.

Re: Fraud
Sky has an article about this here as this does appear similar to this (although you haven't said you received a device):
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/account-takeover
You will need to get in contact with them, there are links at the bottpm of this link to help you with this.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

Re: Fraud
Unfortunately I don't have a sky mobile number to enter. How can I get in touch when that is the case?

Re: Fraud
- I would also if you haven't already contact the police about all this, looks like you may be a victim of identity theft
