Fraud on my tv account

Notified sky re fraud on my tv account..someone trying to order 2 new I phones.they acknowledged the potential fraud immediately ( about 5 weeks ago).restricted my account and told me to do nothing until I heard back from fraud team which should be 3-5 days.have still heard nothing and in meantime have been told my account is in arrrears because payment has not been collected (I haven't touched my direct t debit.it is still set up with funds in the bank to pay it).I am now being threatened with an early termination of contract charge of £550.every time I try to ring sky ( which I have now lost count of)to advise then my tv service has now been turned off so I cannot access sky sports which is the only reason I have sky and I cannot access recordings on the sky q box.they just tell me my account is frozen and they cannot access any details and I have to wait for the fraud team to get back to me.they are sorry my tv service has been cut off but they can't do anything about it.

it just seems no one dept at sky knows what the other one is doing .i am just stuck in the middle ready and willing to pay for the service but nobody can tell me how.

has anyone had the same problem.any ideas what to do?

do I go to the ombudsman?
