First broadband bill

Hi.
just looking for some help please. I had a first bill of £16 due to be taken out on the 29th June, but it was never taken on the morning so I went into the app where it said it was overdue and a link saying "pay bill" so I paid it, on the due date.  But now they are trying to take the payment again, multiple times. I rung yesterday and they said they would call me back within 5 minutes, which never happened. But a couple of minutes ago received an email saying  "overdue payment on your account". The lines obviously close at 9 so thought I would come on here to see if I can get any answers

thanks

@Crink

When you pay by a direct debit if the payment fails for whatever reason then Sky will try again in 10 days time so while the message you saw about the payment being overdue while this is correct you didn't actually have to make a manual payment as usually doing this doesn't pay the bill but instead adds a credit to your account that can be used to pay your next bill.

So do you see a credit, because if you do Sky will try to take the payment for this first bill again and the credit can be left in place or if you prefer it can be refunded help of which can be arranged for you via here if you would like.
