my first bill was £49 and it did not automatically go out. So I pressed 'make a payment' and payed £49. The bill has carried over and is now £78 for next month. My direct debit has been set up, but doesn't seem to be working.

Find out moreIt does appear that for whatever reason the direct debit wasn't taken which is why it has been carried over to next months bill where you should also see a credit for £49 due to you paying it here so does you see this credit on that bill, if you do then the actual amount they take should be £29.
I don't why the payment wasn't taken but has you have a direct debit setup you shouldn't need to pay as it as you did.
