Expensive

I believe I am paying to much for my sky as I have friends paying a lot less than myself and I'm a 'vip' member

@Robert144

Nearly every customer is a VIP customer and your status as a VIP has little to do with your subscription costs.

Every customer Sky has VIP on their account as it counts for nothing when it comes to what you pay.

What you need to do is to call Sky to see if they will offer you a discount. If they do it will come with a 24 month contract and you will need to make you mind upon the spot as there is a chances are the and offer will not be given should you call back later.

Re: Expensive

I am a VIP customer too, over 25 years, but my bill has been increased by £15  a month from this month.

@Jim+S3132
Sounds like yours discounts have ended. Sky will have told you the date any discount was ending when you took it out so if it has ended you’ll be paying the full undiscounted price. Perhaps compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ
www.sky.com/bill.

The best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Remember Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

Compare to previous month to see what's changed.  Not all discounts co-expire.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Remember your VIP status does not influence your subscription prices. So looking at your latest bill how does it differ from previous months?

What part of your subscription has increased as obviously we can't see your bills?
