Error Ineligible Message with URL redirect
I just cannot do anything with my VIP account. I am looking to both upgrade my phone and change to Sky Broadband but I consistently get redirected to this page:
https://www.sky.com/error/ineligible
I have had no sensible answers from technical support.
I have tried on my phone, laptop, pc, using a variety of browsers with cleared caches and nothing works.
Has anyone else had an "Ineligible" error message?
If so, how was it resolved?

Have you ever left Sky in the past and returned because if so are you signed into the correct account ?

@philbranigan account permissions is something only Sky can help with. You could try to escalate this by registering a complaint see How to make a Sky complaint | Sky Help | Sky.com
In tge end you cannot force Sky to honour offers but it is a little strange.

As I have previously posted, my account has got an 'ineligible' marker against it. It has nothing to do with getting Sky to honour offers as, I cannot even see them, yet alone apply for them. I have emailed yet another complaint today but I'm not holding my breath. My VIP status means nothing and I bet I just get bombarded with irrelevant advice like: "Have you cleared your browser cookies? Have you turned it of and on again?" What I really require is a senior account manager to review a marker against my profile and remove resolved disputes that are blocking me.

Did you put in a complaint as advised to do and if so have you not been contacted about this yet as Sky has up to 8 weeks to resolve the issue for you once you have done this.

I think you need to leave my thread alone as you obviously don't know anything. I will await a response from a Sky employee. I have considerable experience with dealing with the complaints department. I was only asking a question here to see if anyone has had similar experience. As a retired programmer and website developer I fully understand how the 'ineligible' URL redirect works, my account has a marker against it.

That can't and won't happen as the result of a forum post, which is precisely why making a formal complaint has been suggested.

You posted on a message board asking for advice which has been given so it is up to you if you follow it on not. No Sky employee will contact you due to you posting on here.
