Ending my contract with sky

My contract with sky ended 13/3/25 after going with a new provider. I have sent back there equipment and have had an e-mail acknowledging receiving it I paid what I thought was the final bill now they are saying I owe them for this month. I've tried phoning them but cannot get any answer.

@Anonymous

What services did you cancel?

How did you cancel? (Discounts ended on 13 March not necessarily your contract).

Did you receive an email from Sky acknowledging the cancellation?!

Contracts do not end unless you give notice or migrate broadband services (using One Touch Switch).

If you had TV services then you still have TV services if you didn't positively cancel.  (Returning hardware will not cancel the contract)

One Touch Switching is for broadband only. You can't cancel a TV subscription that way.

Hubs don't have remotes!

@Anonymous  As advised in previous posts you can't switch a TV service from Sky to another provider using OTS, you must give Sky 31 days notice to cancel and as you haven't they are still billing you.  Returning their equipment does not cancel your TV service.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

You cannot cancel TV services via U switch.

As I said, if you had TV services and didn't actually cancel then you still have TV services.

Best to call tomorrow and give 31 days notice.

It doesn't sound as though any reimbursement is due.....
