I have been billed twice for the same period please help
Did you make a manual payment and Sky took it from your payment method, if this is what has hapeoned do you now see a credit on your account because if you do you can either leave this so it will be used to pay next months bill or you can call Sky to ask it be refubnded.
The same thing has happened to me (in July), I've just noticed... Is it best to raise with the Bank since it's not possible to talk to real people who work for Sky?

No - persevere in calling Sky. Reversing charges via the bank may have unexpected consequences depending on what it's for - especially a credit-related item.
Yeah its showing as credit but I would like it returned

And going forward you do not need to make any manual payments as Sky will take it from you each month.
I guess I wasn't the only one. I have three devices with Sky and two of them have been duplicated.
all three have an August charge but two of them have a July charge also.

It still takes 3-5 working days to be processed.
