Dispute on contract monthly payment

I have just changed from Virgin Media to Sky. Still awaiting broadband and TV engineers

I agreed a package for £62 per month. The paperwork has arrived and my monthly total is £74.50

I have queried this with Billing dept and they have the same paperwork as I have, £74.50

I asked them to bring up my actual call with the advisor when we agreed the £62, however, it appears they cannot do this.

So who can check the recorded phone call which will confirm our verbal agreement?

Virgin Media retentions offered - at the end - to match my verbal price agreement with Sky, now I wish I had stayed - may well do!!

If you’re a new customer your first couple of bills are usually higher, basically due to the dates they cover (more than the usual number of days). In effect you’ll be charged from the date of the activation up until the end of that billed month, and for the next month in advance. Check your future bills to see if they reflect the amount you were expecting. Also see these links

Re: Dispute on contract monthly payment

Unfortunately this is not the case.

The payment stipulates the agreed 24 month monthly payment and this was confirmed by customer services. It is not a one off payment.

As mentioned to them I only ask they bring up the recorded initial phone conversation with the Sky agent which will show our agreed total monthly payment.

Not a good start!!

If your future bills are wrong then you might want to put in a complaint giving them the date and time that you agreed this price with them:
