Disney+ - Connected my existing account but it only shows premium as option

I have a full annual Disney+ Premium subscription that I was going to downgrade to with ads until I saw this new deal through my existing Sky subscription. So I cancelled my sub. Will end Tuesday.

Connected my existing Disney Subscription to my Sky account today but it's only giving me the option to pay more to get the without ads deal and wants me to confirm. I've also got a new email from Disney+ with a subscriber agreement!

Anyone come up against this and know what to do about this?

As when going into the Disney app on tv it's saying

"You're not finished yet! Scan the QR code to save with Sky - You'll need to scan the qr code with your mobile or visit sky.com/disneyplan and follow the next steps.

When you're done, Sky will bill you only £9 per  month for Premium, Disney+ will refund  your annual plan within 14 days, and you'll save £5.99 off the regular monthly price"

Done/Maybe later

I have this in my basket summary

Apps Disney+ Premium - price is £9
Status information Adding

Anyone else come up against this combo of issues? Might be it all works fine when my Disney sub ends maybe?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

Hi @Opaque   Why did you cancel, that has probably confused everything. It is only the billing that gets transferred.

As your account will end Tuesday you will have to wait till after that date.  Then you should be able to get free Disney+ with ads It worked with me as the account I cancelled a month ago was standard Disney with out ads , and when I went on the  Disney app on my Sky box I was able to get the free Disney with ads no problem. I think the reason you can't do it now is because  you have alive Disney premium account and in the run of things if want change your subscription to either upgrade or down grade the change dose not happen till you next payment date

If he did not cancel he would have to go to Disney + site and downgrade his subscription  to Disney+ with ads as changes to your pack don't take effect till the next billing date,  he would still had to wait till after his next billing date to get Disney+ with ads.  He would also had to log on to Disney site prior to that date .Actually cancelling he can now do it without paying any more direct to Disney.
