Discount about to end
I negotiated contracts a few months ago but was told my £15 discount would end in November 2025 but not to worry. Ring up in November and as always negotiate another discount. Put date on calendar, rang up today to be directed to a virtual agent who told me they didn't offer discounts of this sort. I'd have to be a chosen customer. I've been with Sky over 20 years and have never been treated like this. This agent then told me if I wanted to leave Sky I couldn't because I had contracts till April 2027, and guess what, there was no survey as in the past asking how they'd done. [Removed] I can't believe a company can treat their loyal customers so badly!

Re: Discount about to end
Were you actually speaking to an actual agent or just the bot, if it was an agent then they are within the rights not to give you another discount as this is harder to come by these days.

That's quite correct. The latest TV subscription T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. (If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term).
Significant discounts are harder to come by these days so if you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer is unlikely to be available when you call back. Also remember you’re not a new customer so don’t expect anything close to a new customer deal.
