I have a direct debit set up on my account, it was due out today but has not been taken, i have sufficent funds in my account , andit says on the sky app that payment has been received, what is going on

That means it is in the process of being taken so if you check your account again tomorrow it should have updated to show this.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWas it set up recently? The date is the earliest date they will collect - if the app is showing as 'received' then the banking process is initiated - it may well come out tomorrow.
Do not be tempted to make any manual payment at this stage.

Direct debit was set up 6 months ago and worked ok up until now

Ok, I'd wait until tomorrow for now - the money will probably clear overnight.
