Direct debit first two digits not recognised

Trying to add broadband to my Sky pakage, you need to put in the 1st two digits of your direct debit bank account to proceed but Sky is saying that the digets are incorrect, they are not !! Anyone else have this issue ?

Are you trying to place the broadband order or trying to link your broadband account to your Sky ID ?

Hi @Kennyluke   Remember that bank account numbers are 8 digits. Have you tried with or without leading zeros. 1st two digits sounds unusual, normally last digits as for many thousands that will be 00.

Yeah, putting the 1st 2 numbers of the 8 from account No, still saying doesn't recognise,  have double checked everything and still no joy. Just trying 2 add it 2 my present package,  went onto chat and they were hopeless so just chucked it.
