Direct Debit taken on wrong date

I'm a new customer and when I set up my direct debit, I chose the payment date as the 28th of the month. Sky have tried to take my direct debit today, but it cannot bectaken as I don't get paid until the date I originally requested. How can I sort this, as there is mo money currently available for it to be taken today. This doesn't help to install confidence for a new customer!

The first bill is due 2 weeks after your services start, the second bill around 2 weeks after that. After that you can change the payment date to one that suits you better.
