Did sky just call me ?

I'm just wondering how I find out if this actually was Sky calling me or is it a scam?

I have searched through our known numbers and I cannot confirm this is Sky therefore I would follow this link for more information and how to protect yourself going forward.

Obviously safety is paramount & everyone should always be cautious but can I ask @Kirsty+S27do your lists also include SKY protect  as I think they often identify themselves as SKY even though they are Domestic & General Insurance and not part of SKY itself

That's more easily judged by the nature of the call.

 

Telling you that your broadband is 'slow' / 'compromised' / 'being misused' is a scam.

 

Asking about your 'experience' / giving information on 'new features' and then trying to sell you insurance is Sky.

I have checked the contact numbers for Sky Protect and cant seem to link the number to them however I can't 100% confirm.

 

As @TimmyBGood said it would depend on the nature of the call and if discussions on Sky Protect were mentioned it may have been a call from them.
