The Sky Sports part of my package expires on 21/01/25, I rang up to discuss it, unfortunately I could not understand the Indian Lady I spoke to, nor do I think she could understand me either.
My question is do I let it expire, then ring up or try to do it now.

I'd suggest trying to ring again.
Leaving it closer to the date the discount expires may mean you end up paying list price for Sky Sports for a small period until you get a deal you like or remove it.

The only thing that expires is the discounts... Until you give 31 days notice it stays on your subscriptions.
