Credit refund

Hi there! I changed broadband provider on 1st December 2025 as my contract had ended with sky on 30th November 2025 which was a sunday hence 1 day over, sky took their direct debit on 26th Nov which coverd 25th Nov - 25th Dec when sky knew i was leaving! My account shows £38.34 in credit so i contacted sky to which they said id recieve a refund into my bank on 26th Dec! Rediculous to have to wait that long plus as i thought no refund has been issued today! Yes its a public holiday & tomorrow is saturday & so on can anyone advise me when to expect it please as trying to contact sky is impossible! Lord Lucan is easier to contact! Thanks for your time

Billing continues through a notice period and as bills are generated 14 days prior to a payment date it's quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you.

Refunds should normally take about six weeks from the last day of connection but posts on here suggest it's regularly taking a bit longer.

We used to escalate this to Sky on here via their Community Messaging Team but unfortunateky that process has been unavallable since the summer and we don't know when it'll return.

If you don't want to wait you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; either by calling, or initially through Sky Assistant or via social media, Providing your payment method is still active they should then be able to refund it in 3-5 WORKING days.
