Credit on account

Right i missed my broadband payment date but have since added the bill money to my sky account.but sky are still trying to take it out my bank (which is empty) when will they just take it from the credit on my account as i get paid in a few days and dont want sky taking it then its like ive payed twice

If you have a Direct Debit set up and the full payment fails on the normal payment date Sky will automatically attempt it again 10 calendar days later so you didn't need to make a manual payment in this period. Your manual payment will have gone towards next months bill.

 

After 10 days, if that second attempt also fails Sky may send a text and/or email notifying you that your payment has failed again and you then have a day or two at best before they restrict your services.

Thanks for the reply but they have been trying daily to take it from my bank since the 1st same haopened last month and they took it straight out of the credit i paid but this month nope

@Craigsc Are you continually late in paying the sky BB bill? If so sky also have rules about that and may be looking at a penalty payment also!

Just these past 2 months as its coming xmas and a big change in circumstances i dont see how that comment helps anything to be fair

I guess this depends on timings so what was your payment date and when did you add the credit to your account and I take it you do pay by a direct debit ?
