Credit on account after cancellation

I left sky 31/10/24 and have since paid a final bill. 

i have logged into to see I am due credit which says it will be 'used towards next bill' but I have left sky so how do I get this money back?

So you only left Sky yesterday?

If your payment method is still active on your Sky account refunds can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. If your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque (usually involving a back office team) and post it to you so it’ll take longer.

If you wish we can try to help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but please confirm in your reply it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

Hi.

 

I emigrate to Australia next week and no longer have a UK address to post too.

 

the bill showing a refund is due 05/12 but states it will be as credit on the account not refunded to my bank.

 

i am no longer a sky custiner as of 31/10. Why is it not automatically refunded on acocunt closure?

It is, but as per my previous reply it coukd take up to 6 weeks.
