Credit for cancellation

I phoned sky 2 weeks ago to cancel due to rise of prices. They ended up giving me a deal and were absolutely amazing! My payment was due on the 1st of June of £56 but it's saying I've paid it when the money hasn't come out of my account? And then my next bill says "credit for cancellation -£56" I'm just wondering if this means I never had to pay the £56

@Chelsea0301 normally your Sky account shows your bill as 'paid' when Sky has processed the direct debit request. It might be a day or so before your bank account is debited.

Re: Credit for cancellation

Do you know what the credit for cancellation -£56 means on my bill for next month?

I wouldn't want to hazard a guess, to be honest. I'd suggest giving Sky a call.

@Chelsea0301

Did you have any credit left on your previous bill after it had been paid as usually a credit is money that is owed to you.

@Chelsea0301

I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.
