Credit Refund

Hi,

My account was closed 2 months ago, I've waited the suggested 60 days and there's still no sign of the credit on my account being refunded.

Can the outstanding balance on my account be refunded please?

If your payment method is still active on your Sky account refunds usually take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection. If your payment method has been cancelled Sky will have to manually raise a cheque (usually involving a back office team) and post it to you so it’ll take longer.

If you wish we can try to help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here. Let us know on this thread if that’s what you want to do but please confirm in your reply it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

Thanks for your response.

since posting on here I've contacted Sky by phone. (Post was blocked when it contained the number)

 

The person on the phone has arranged for the account credit to be refunded directly to my bank account in the next few days.

 

It does seem silly that so many people have to chase their refunds, I'm sure things would happen much quicker if the shoe were on the other foot!

We see this scenario on here frequently but the credit should be applied back within about 6 weeks provided the payment method is still active. Glad you're sorted.

A refund can take anywhere between 3-5 days to appear in your account so should be with you by Friday at the latest.
