Credit Refund to New Bank Acc?

I left Sky on the 12 January 2026 and my usual billing day is 11th of the month so i paid a full month's payment just before. I now have a credit showing on my account but don't have any Sky products or services. I also changed my bank account details recently. Will Sky be able to refund the credit owed to my new bank account (or send a cheque)? Will they also be able to pay it soon?

@AndyH37
Refunds seem to be taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection.

We can help get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Community Messaging Team on here now if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

If however your payment method has been cancelled Sky will either have to reinstate your payment method or manually raise a cheque via a back office team and post it to you so that will take much longer.

@AndyH37 Sky will send the refund to the bank shown in your direct debit details. If you've set up a new direct debit on your new bank account, that's where the refund will go.

Thank you, the direct debit auto transferred, but was instigated after leaving. It shows on my DDs so hopefully Sky have the details
