Credit Refund Due Post Cancellation
Hello! I cancelled Sky Broadband back in August but I was wrongly charged in September. I'm still waiting for a refund, could you help me contact someone who can sort this out?
Thank you!

Re: Credit Refund Due Post Cancellation
Not necessarily wrongly charged.
Billing continues through a notice period. Bills for Sky+, Sky Q and Broadband / Talk are generated 14 days prior to a payment date. It's therefore quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you.
Is it showing as a credit on your Sky account? Is your payment method still active? Are you still at the same address?

Re: Credit Refund Due Post Cancellation
Hi Daniel,
It is indeed showing as credit and as a negative number, opposite to the rest of the bills I received when I was still with Sky. The payment method is still active and the address is the same as well.

Re: Credit Refund Due Post Cancellation
To see if they can help you I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Community Messaging Team should make contact with you later.
Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
This link explains what happens…
