Credit Held After Leaving Sky

Hi, my service with Sky ended 6 weeks ago. I was told any credit in my account would be reimbursed, so I left my payment method active.

I havn't received any payment from Sky, I've tried calling customer service which is a nightmare. Would somebody be able to help put me in touch with someone that could process a refund of the credit balance please?

Thank you very much.

@Shirley0076
Refunds should normally take about 6 weeks from your last day of connection, but recent posts suggest in some cases it is taking longer.

We can potentially help you get it refunded within 3-5 working days via the Messaging Team on here if you wish. Let us know on this thread if you want to do that.

Before we can escalate it to Sky please confirm in your reply if it’s currently showing as a credit on your Sky account.

@Shirley0076   To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team. This link explains how it works https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147#M1014

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.

When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.

I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@Shirley0076

@GD1 beat me to the escalation. Hopefully the credit is still showing on your account otherwise the chat may not help.
