Contract

I have just signed up for the £25 per month gigafast black Friday deal. I am waiting for my activation day which is 11th December. I just checked my contract on the 'my sky' app and it said I'm on a rolling contract. Does this mean I'm not tied into a fixed contract at £25 and likely that my price is likely to jump up after the first month?

@Ryan1234-- legally it is a rolling contract with a 24 month minimum term. The price you agreed will be held for the period given in the terms and condituons in the offer normally that is 24 months but check - the details in the link labelled "The Legal Bit" - the £25 is a discounted price which the terms allow can iSky to increase which they do by applying a price change in April of each year.

However you are protected as If that exceeds a limit set by Ofcom Sky have to give you 4 weeks to switch supplier without a penalty. Once the discount period ends the price switches to the full undiscounted price but you are free to leave if you want by giving 14 days notice or in practice just by switching to a cheaper supplier if you can find one.
