No it doesn't.  That date is the end of a minimum term where your discounts simply expire.

You have to give at least 31 days notice to cancel.  If you're going to cancel then doing it on 5 August would be ideal.  In theory, you can give notice earlier as long as they do not action any cancellation immediately.

@raymond18

That would be the full package price without discounts shoukd you not cancel or renegotiate.

Re: Contract

Nope that is with discount, if I take another 2year contract it goes up another 10 pound making it a 33% rise.

Re: Contract

The email said I could keep what I got with 15 pound discount but even with that taken off it still works out 20% more than March. On the same email it also stated it I wanted a 2 year contract it would be extra 10 pound.

Don't forget that since March there has been the annual price increase in April.

All Sky TV and broadband/Talk subscriptions are now 24 months. The length changed mid 2024 iirc.

Re: Contract

I agree but they give you a discount in one hand then take it in the other, therefore only 5 pound discount, not bad for 18 years loyalty.

Re: Contract

Just one more question, if I change to sky stream from q, could I get a lower price as a existing customer. I have asked what sort of price, but it is like getting blood from a stone.

Hi @raymond18   Simply go to Sky.com and choose TV, Stream and it will give you a price to change.
