I signed up for a tv and broadband package with sky, and have been a customer for over 6 years.
we rung up to add on sports to our tv package during our contract period, but then within a day decided against it therefore rung up and cancelled.
our tv package at the time was converted to a different package when sports was added, but not reverted back when we cancelled within the cooling off period. Which I am only finding out today as I wanted to resign up into a new contract.
I have rung up sky now to resign up as my contract has ended meaning my prices have gone up. Sky are unable to match the offers from their website for sky tv and broadband, therefore I have asked for cancellation. Which they have advised that I cannot cancel my TV as I'm still in contract. The lady on the phone was rude and said it's not her problem if I'm only annoyed about the recontract now after 1.5 years. To which I responded that I wasn't aware of recontract especially considering I cancelled all changes during a cooling off period.
not only are sky not giving me the deal online. But also have extended my contract without agreed permission from myself. As mentioned I've been a customer for 6 years, you call me a vip gold customer but yet are treating me like you don't want my custom.
